Not Eaten by Penguins

I'm back!

More accurately, I got back to Florida the day before yesterday, but it's been quite an adjustment -- not much of a time change, but after a week and a half on a boat and a solid day in airplanes it's a bit weird to be on solid ground.

Antarctica was ever bit as awesome an experience as you could imagine. It'll take me a few days to get my 1000+ photos organized, but here's a teaser. I'm not usually one for scenery (Grand Canyon rated 'meh') but there's something about an glacier-ravaged mountain that's just breathtaking.

This is the Lemaire Channel, nicknamed the Kodak Gap, separating Booth Island (right) from the Antarctic Peninsula.

welcome back vicky :)
the kodak gap definitely looks hilarious. there isn't that much snow on the mountains, and the water is far from frozen. you guys definitely had great weather!
